Everything is bigger in Texas! And we certainly expect that to be the case in 2012. From July 11-15, 2012, Phi Kappa Psi will be gathering at the Grand Hyatt - San Antonio (600 E. Market St.; San Antonio, TX 78205) for the 76th Grand Arch Council. The biennial governing convention of the Fraternity, this is your opportunity to help shape Phi Kappa Psi moving forward. Elect a new slate of officers, sit on a committee and be a part of something special.

Beyond the business of the Fraternity, the GAC is the ultimate Phi Kappa Psi social and networking event. We expect there to be 700-800 (if not more) brothers, Phi Psi ladies, children and guests in attendance. Prior to the normal activities of the week, be sure to join us for the President's Reception on the evening of Wednesday, July 11th. That night, Phi Psi members and guests will be treated to a special concert by country music star Clint Black! Everything is bigger in Texas, right? Why not the President's Reception?! There is also a tremendous amount of activities planned for wives, guests and children of Phi Psi members. You can register your guests along with yourself, and please check out the schedule of events for your family here.

Returning at the 2012 GAC for the third installment is the Founders Cup, the Phi Psi Foundation's golf outing and a great, friendly competition between brothers. It will take place on the morning of Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Make sure you plan on arriving in San Antonio a day early to take part and make a run at the championship. This four-man scramble format will be taking place at The Quarry Golf Club. Whether you have a foursome, or want to be paired up as a single, there is a spot for you! Register here.

Undergraduates: $305 (by June 15th) or $325

Alumni: $330 (by June 15th) or $350

The GAC is also our best venue to recognize the best in our organization. From our Grand Chapter to individual awards, the GAC highlights the best of Phi Kappa Psi. There will be special programming during the week to showcase our dedication to service and our national partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America as well.

With the governing and guidance of our organization comes the opportunity to propose changes to the Phi Kappa Psi Constitution, Rules and By-laws. The full governing documents can be found on Phi Psi Connect, and any member may propose a change by submitting it in writing to Shawn Collinsworth, Executive Director. All proposed changes must be submitted by May 11, 2012.

Our individual recognition also includes the National Leadership Awards, presented by the Phi Psi Foundation. Introduced in 1998, these winners have given of their knowledge, time and energy in such a way as to strengthen the character and deepen the integrity of the Fraternity, its members, and the community at large. Phi Kappa Psi is quite fortunate to call these successful gentlemen brothers, as each recipient serves as a positive role model for future generations of the Fraternity.
